The Mission

Sign US accounting firms to Fiskl and make them wildly successful. You’re not selling software – you’re selling hours back in their day and millions in new revenue potential. Every firm you sign affects hundreds of SMEs. Every accountant you convert becomes an evangelist.

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Cold call/email/DM accounting firms until you find the forward-thinking ones.
  • Run demos that make accountants say “holy shit” instead of “let me think about it”.
  • Close deals on the first call because you make the value so obvious.
  • Build partnerships with state CPA societies and accounting associations.
  • Turn successful firms into case studies that sell themselves.
  • Create FOMO in the accounting community – “everyone’s switching to Fiskl”.
  • Own everything from first touch to signed contract to successful implementation.
  • Build a playbook that lets us hire 10 more of you.

Non-Negotiable: You Must Use AI Tools

We only hire people who leverage AI daily. You should be using Claude/GPT-4 for outreach, personalization, and closing strategies. If you don’t use AI to 10x your output, this role isn’t for you.

The Reality Check

  • Accountants are skeptical as hell – they’ve been burned by “revolutionary” software before.
  • You’re calling people who bill $300/hour and think they don’t have time for you.
  • The US market is dominated by QuickBooks (65% market share) – David vs Goliath.
  • But once you show them 80% automation, they literally cannot believe it

What You Need to Show Us

  • You’ve sold B2B and closed real deals (not just SDR work).
  • You understand enough about accounting to be dangerous (or can learn fast).
  • You’re comfortable with rejection – 90% will say no, the 10% will make you rich.
  • You can build relationships with both 25-year-old bookkeepers and 60-year-old CPAs.
  • You move fast – contracts signed in days, not months.

Experience We Want

We don’t care if you’re 22 or 42. Show us:

  • Deals you’ve closed (size, sales cycle, how you won).
  • Your hunger – why you need to win, not just want to.
  • Times you’ve beaten established competitors.
  • Your ability to learn complex products and make them simple.

Ideal But Not Essential

  • You’ve sold to accountants, lawyers, or other skeptical professionals.
  • You understand the US tax season chaos (January-April insanity).
  • You have existing relationships in the accounting world.
  • You’ve worked at a startup that scaled from nothing to something.

Your First 90 Days

  • Month 1: Sign 5 pilot firms, get them live and happy.
  • Month 2: Turn pilots into case studies, sign 10 more firms.
  • Month 3: Build partnership with at least one state CPA society.
  • By day 90: Have a scalable playbook for US domination.

Position type: full-time or part-time contract role, remote within +/-5h maximum of GMT (UK). The role can evolve to a full-time employee role.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identify and qualify potential customers through outbound prospecting and lead generation activities
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
  • Schedule and conduct high-value sales conversations with decision-makers
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

What you’ll need

  • 1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter mentality and a drive to succeed
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools

Commission Structure for Revenue Share Partnerships Sales:

  1. Base Commission: 10% of the total revenue generated from the partnership in the first year.
  2. Renewal Commission:
  • 5% commission on all revenue generated from the partnership in the second year.
  • 3% commission on all revenue generated from the partnership in the third year and beyond.
  1. Performance-Based Commission:
  • An additional 2% commission on all revenue generated from the partnership if the partnership generates more than $100,000 in the first year.
  • An additional 3% commission on all revenue generated from the partnership if the partnership generates more than $250,000 in the first year.
  1. Team Commission:
  • 2% commission on all revenue generated from partnerships introduced by team members directly introduced by the partnerships sales representative
  1. Annual Bonus:
  • An annual bonus of $10,000 for achieving or exceeding 125% of the annual revenue targets.

Commission Structure for Upfront License Sales (wholesale licenses)

  1. Base Commission: 15% of the total upfront license fee for all closed deals.
  2. Performance-Based Commission:
  • An additional 2% commission on all upfront license fee if the deal is worth more than $50,000
  • An additional 3% commission on all upfront license fee if the deal is worth more than $100,000
  1. Team Commission:
  • 2% commission on all upfront license fee generated by team members directly introduced by the sales representative
  1. Annual Bonus:
  • An annual bonus of $10,000 for achieving or exceeding 125% of the annual license sales targets.
