Easily review all your transactions and help your accountant quickly identify which transactions to include in your accounts.

  • Connect your bank account. See Connect your bank account within this guide.
  • All your transactions will appear, from here you can review, set categories, filter, sort and identify non business related transactions and more.
  • Fiskl will automatically categorise the transactions however, if the transaction isn’t an obvious match, it’ll be marked as an uncategorised income or expense.

After connecting your bank for the first time, if your bank transactions don’t appear instantly please note it can take our banking data providers up to 12 hours to fetch the initial transactions from the connected bank account.

Fiskl will pull in as many transactions as possible sometimes this is from 1 month to 12 months depending on the institution.

From the main menu select “Banking”.

View transactions

Fiskl will automatically import your transactions from your bank account so you can quickly review them.

Pull down the screen to refresh the connections to view your most up to date transactions. The last time the account was updated is shown under the bank name.

If your bank requires a secondary authentication such as a Multi Factor Authentication, SMS, email or another method, you may need to enter this each time you refresh, the transactions will not be fetched automatically.

Each account linked to your bank will appear with the following high level account information:

  • Name of the bank.
  • Name of the account.
  • Bank balance.
  • Indication of when the account was last updated.

Select your account to see all your transactions.

Categorise transactions

Fiskl will automatically categorise the transactions however, if the transaction isn’t an obvious match, it’ll be marked as an uncategorised income or expense.

These categories can be easily changed by clicking on the drop down menu next to the Uncategorised field.

Match or split your transactions

You can match or split your transactions from your transaction list within banking

  1. Open your account
  2. Open your transaction and select either the “Match” or “Split” button, then follow the instructions detailed in the Transactions section of this guide.

Filter transactions

To filter your transactions, click on the filter icon at the top right of the screen.

Delete a transaction

If your transaction is not business related, then you can swipe right to delete.

Multiple transactions can be selected by clicking on “Bulk actions”.

From the main menu select “Banking”.

View transactions

Fiskl will automatically import your transactions from your bank account so you can quickly review them.

Click on the refresh icon to instantly refresh. The date of the last update is shown on the account card.

Open your transaction and click on the down arrow next to the transaction and select either the “Match” or “Split” button, then follow the instructions detailed in the Transactions section of this guide.

Sort transactions

To sort your transactions by date click on the up or down arrows on the column header

Filter transactions

You can filter by pre-set time periods, for example, “This financial year” or use the date selector to add custom dates.

You can also filter by category.

Delete a transaction

If your transaction is not business related, then click on the down arrow next to the transaction and click the delete button.

Multiple transactions can be selected by clicking on “Bulk actions”.
