Who is eligible to sign up for Fiskl Payments?

Fiskl Payments is available to users in the US and Canada at this time. The person who signs up must be a financial representative of your company and must be an account holder on the bank account you plan to receive your funds into.

I’m in the business of selling X. Can I process payments with Fiskl Payments?

Probably. WePay can process payments for most types of businesses and services, in the US, Canada, and UK. Of course, we do have limits – our credit card and banking partners prohibit us from processing payments related to certain activities, so you’ll want to visit Section 7 of our Terms of Service for a list of activities we cannot support.

How much does Fiskl Payments cost?

Pricing is very simple — it’s the listed rate for every card transaction. There are no monthly fees, set-up fees, payout fees, or hidden charges of any kind with Fiskl Payments. And because of our flat rate fee structure, you only get charged when you take a payment.

What types of cards can I accept?

Fiskl Payments gives you the ability to accept credit and debit cards from all major card brands including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. You’re also able to accept lesser known card brands such as JCB and Diners Club.

What other types of payments can I accept?

In addition to credit and debit card payments, you can use Fiskl Payments to accept ACH Payments in the US.

Can Fiskl Payments be used internationally?

In order to accept payments with Fiskl Payments you must have a valid US or Canada bank account and address. However, you can accept payments from customers located anywhere in the world so long as they are paying with one of the supported card brands (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club).

What currencies can I get paid in?

Right now, accepting credit cards in either US or Canadian dollars are supported. To accept US funds, you must have a valid US bank account and address. Same applies for Canada. You can accept payments from customers that live anywhere in the world, but you’ll have to charge them in the currency associated with where your account is registered. Your customer can pay with their local credit card, but their bank might charge them a conversion fee (and/or international payments fee).

Who is WePay?

WePay is the payments processor that we’ve partnered with to power Fiskl Payments. When you sign up for Fiskl Payments, a WePay merchant account is automatically created for you to accept card payments online. Once you’ve received a payment (or even before you receive a payment), you’ll need to quickly finish setting up your WePay account on www.wepay.com.

How does WePay protect my information?

Protecting your security and the security of your customers is very important to us. We take a variety of safety and security precautions to ensure your personal data and cardholder payment data are kept safe at all time. WePay uses state-of-the-art cryptographic algorithms during data transmission and in our databases. Our servers are kept in PCI compliant data centers with 24×7 monitoring. All money you collect is held in a protected account by our partner bank, an FDIC-insured institution, so your funds are never at risk. Our systems are tested frequently and are in line with PCI compliance requirements resulting in WePay’s Level 1 PCI Compliance rating.
