It’s easy to edit your time item directly or those that have already been attached to an invoice or a scheduled invoice template.

From the Time list, simply tap on the time item, change the required fields and tap save.

Editing a Time item which has already been attached to an invoice or Scheduled template:

If the time has been billed or attached to a scheduled invoice template, this is shown in the Time list by “b” icons, swipe left and tap on “View in invoice” this will then open the invoice the Time item is attached to.

If the invoice is in Open or Rejected status:

  1. Tap on the edit icon to bring up the invoice screen.
  2. Tap on the Time item within the invoice and make the required changes. The changes you make here will also be replicated in the time item within the Time list.

If the invoice status is Sent, Overdue or Paid:

  1. Tap on the padlock icon to bring up the invoice screen.
  2. Tap on the Time item within the invoice and make the required changes. The changes you make here will also be replicated in the time item within the Time list.

For scheduled invoice templates in Paused status:

  1. Tap on edit icon to bring up the Scheduled invoice template
  2. Tap on the Time item within the invoice and make the required changes. The changes you make here will also be replicated in the time item within the Time list.

For scheduled invoice templates in Scheduled status:

  1. Tap on the padlock icon to bring up the invoice screen.
  2. Tap on the Time item within the invoice and make the required changes. The changes you make here will also be replicated in the time item within the Time list.

From the Time list, simply click on the time item, change the required fields and click save.

  • Editing a time which has already been attached to an invoice: Click on the time item to open it, then click on “edit in invoice” to bring up the relevant invoice screen.
    • If the invoice is in Open or Rejected status: Click on the Time item within the invoice and make the required changes. The changes you make here will also be replicated in the Time item within the Time list.
    • If the invoice status is Sent, Paid, or Overdue: You’ll need to change the invoice status to Open, to do this, just open the invoice, click on the status, change it to Open.
  • Editing a time which has been attached to a scheduled invoice template: Click on the time item to open it, then click on “edit in invoice” to bring up the scheduled invoice template, then follow the same instructions as above.
  • Click on the Time line within the invoice or scheduled template and make the required changes. 
  • The changes you make here will also be replicated in the Time item within the Time list.
